Been getting a kick out of downloading fonts and making my own number plates for various cars.
One thing I really dig that Forza was never able to offer is the ability to decal over non-body-coloured parts such as the license plate.
And now that the GT has got the real car sounds, it’s now a complete package.

I have several US state license plate decals in my library to add some authenticity to some of my friends’ cars:

Maybe I need a PS4 after all.

Cool, I’ll add you next time I boot up the PS4 (maybe tonight) . I’ve found a couple of California decals but no complete font set.
I have the full font set for the UK , Japan and China, but Chinese plates are an odd in-between shape that doesn’t paste well on to GT’s show-car plates which are either Euro-shaped (less upright) or Japan/US-shape (more upright) .

Unpopular opinion, i love the F50. Especially the GTs. #2 best Ferrari design behind the F40 and ahead of the F12

The original F50 was a little too bug-eyed and smiley. Ignoring the racing wing, the F50 GT is what it should’ve looked like from the beginning. Its front end was perfect for the 1990s.
The side profile and rear end of the F50 are still probably my favourite Ferrari looks ever.

US plate fonts are close enough to the generic in-game alphabet decals that I just use those and stretch them a bit . Euro fonts are pretty distinct, though.

I genuinely thought these were actual real life photos, obviously on a screen. Are these all in-game pictures??

Jesus christ this game looks fantastic. Is the camera still glued to the car like it was before? I really hate that in GT, it really
put me off the game, I hated how controlling the cars felt from the third person.

It’s ridiculous how good Polyphony Digital has gotten this game to look. Here’s an online F1 race I won:
I pretty much drive exclusively using the cockpit camera, but I don’t think that the third-person camera is “stuck” to the car anymore.

The photos in this thread are from “Scapes,” which is the dedicated photography mode in GT Sport. Essentially the backgrounds, or “scapes” in these photos are actually real photos which have then been given basic 3D areas in which you can place and position up to 3 cars and take photos using full DSLR-esque controls and panning settings. There are more than 1,000 different scapes to use and more are being added.
Of course, you can also go into a replay of a race you’ve saved and use the same in-game camera options to get whatever kind of angle and shot you want. These photos were taken from replays:

Still extremely impressive, even though it’s not technically in-game. I’ve been googling these scapes for some time now and most of the time I can’t tell if it’s a photo or not. I love it, thanks for the tip!

Still a little tighter than I'd like. I drive bumper cam anyway so NBD

The CA font is a bit particular , but I'm not complaining!

I don't mind the bug eye. The f40 has some awkward angles with its headlights up. But do agree on the side and rear profile

I’ve always loved the F50...even with the original headlights.
